Frank Frazetta and the Al Capp Studio Li'l Abner Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-14-1957 (United Features Syndicate, 1957).
Frazetta worked on the Li'L Abner feature from 1954 till 1961 as a ghost for Al Capp, the most famous and successful cartoonist of his era, Frazetta's energy was focused on the Sunday feature, with an exception of a brief 1954 daily sequence. This Sunday is featured in Volume #2 of the book, "Li'L Abner, The Frazetta years" published by Dark Horse Comics in 2003. The Sunday features a beautiful Frazetta woman!
The image area of this Sunday measures approximately 23.5" x 21". Each of the three panel tiers, and several of the individual panels were cut apart and later rejoined; the strip has some paper aging and scattered staining; otherwise, it is in Very Good condition.
